“When I first joined SMC Faith Community three years ago, I did so for three main reasons. The first was the familiar Eucharistic Liturgy that had been a part of my life since childhood. This continuation of the celebration of the Eucharist was an integral part of my faith.
Secondly, the warmth of the parishioners at SMC made me feel truly connected in a very short period of time.
And last, but certainly not least, were the many, very active ministries that were ongoing and growing stronger due to a strong core of dedicated leaders who inspire others to join in and experience the joy that volunteering to help others truly brings.
To both those who are involved in ensuring that these ministries are successful as well as those who benefit from these ministries, the importance of being able to continue this work is crucial. I believe these ministries are the heart of SMC and truly demonstrate our dedication to loving God and loving our neighbor as Christ taught us.
If you are in a position to do so, and can make a monthly pledge or increase your current monthly pledge by even a small amount, it would truly make a difference.
By enhancing the ability of SMC to continue it’s many ministries, it will make an even greater impact benefitting both SMC parishioners, the Bristol Community and other very worthy causes in Rhode Island and beyond.
